Nordew ("we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights.

What we collect

  • Order data — name, shipping/billing address, email, phone, and order details, used to fulfil and support your order.
  • Payment data — processed securely by our payment provider; we never store full card numbers.
  • Usage data — cookies, analytics, and the Meta Pixel, used to understand site performance and show relevant ads.

Lawful bases (GDPR)

  • Performance of a contract — to process, fulfil, and support your order.
  • Consent — for non-essential cookies, analytics, and Meta Pixel marketing. These only fire after you opt in via our cookie banner; they are off by default, not merely opt-out.
  • Legitimate interests — for fraud prevention and basic, privacy-respecting measurement of how our store performs.
  • Legal obligation — to keep accounting and tax records.

Sharing & international transfers

We share data only with providers needed to run the store: Shopify (our store platform), our payment processor, analytics/advertising platforms, and our fulfilment partner.

To ship your order, order and shipping data (name, address, contact details, items) is shared with our fulfilment partner CJdropshipping, located in China — outside the European Economic Area (EEA). Such transfers are made with appropriate safeguards in place, such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Retention

We keep order and account data for as long as needed to provide our service and support you. Accounting records are retained for 7 years as required by the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (Bokföringslagen). Marketing data is kept until you withdraw consent or unsubscribe.

Your rights

You may access, correct, delete, or port your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@nordew.com and we'll respond within 30 days.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Swedish data protection authority, the Privacy Protection Agency — Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY), imy.se.
