Our Ritual
Two quiet objects for the end of the day.
Nordew began with a simple problem: the last hour before bed is lit by screens. Phones, laptops, the late film — all of it glowing cool and bright when the body is trying to wind down. We wanted something calm to put between your eyes and that light.
We are a Stockholm-based brand built around the evening. Not complicated routines or twelve-step regimes — just a few considered objects for the hours that lead into sleep.
The hero: Evening Light Glasses
Our Evening Light Glasses warm and soften the cool light of screens after dark. Two evening tints: a soft amber to wind down with, and a deeper wine-red for the last hour before bed. You slip them on after dinner and keep them on until the pillow. One size, not prescription, not a medical device — just easier, warmer light for tired eyes.
The wind-down: silk
Around the glasses sits a small supporting cast for the night itself. A silk pillowcase in 22-momme mulberry silk — smooth, cool, fewer creases by morning. And a silk sleep mask that blocks out light without pressing on your eyelids. Soft materials for the part of the evening where you finally stop looking at anything at all.
Why these things
Because they are simple, they are real, and they ask nothing of you. No batteries, no subscriptions, no apps. Just materials that feel good — warm tint and warm silk — used at the right moment.
Everything we make is designed in Stockholm and chosen for the same qualities: quiet, sensory, lasting.
